Let me firstly introduce myself to you, I am Gillian Dalziel and I have qualifications in Beauty Therapy, Reiki and Hypnotherapy. I can now truely offer mind, body and spiritual healing. I run Veenes which I have doing for the last 7 years. Before I opened the business I spent quite a few months thinking on how I could create my own successful beauty salon.

The first thing was to re-search all the different beauty salon names and find a logo a theme and products that I was going to use.

For me this was quite a challenge as it is for others, I mean what do you call yourself and how do you want your image to be to attract the business you want, especially given the fact that I moved to an area where I didn't know anyone.

Also there are so many beauty product companies I had to find ones whom I felt would give my clients the best results.

So after all the re-searching and exhausting my mind I decided I wanted my theme to be Egyptian. After all our ancient ancestors liked to look after themselves and were very knowledgable.

Some clients have asked me over the years about the spelling of the salon, well it is the latin spelling for Venus the Egyptian goddess and to make it more unique I decided to lose the last letter.

Once all the above was finally decided I had to open my shop. I had my business cards, brochures etc done my chosen products and soon I would be doing beauty treatments on my future clients.

 

 

So I hope you enjoyed the little bit of information of how the salon came about.

Below is a list of all the services I offer and my feelings on them is that I believe in traditional beauty treatments after all that is what I trained in and to me you are not only treating the outside you are also treating the inside.

I have tried to give as much detail as I can to let you know what happens when you come along for a treatment , the benefits, contra indications, basically to answer questions you may have before we meet.

Facials by Sothys... Paris, a skin care range for all skin types and all ages, for women and men. Why not treat yourself to an express facial... or an indulgent luxury pampering facial...

 

Make up... we can help you with... a makeover for daytime or evening... offering lessons and beauty tips for teen girls to mature girls...

 

Manicure... or Pedicure... treat yourself... we use Opi nail polish we do a simple file and polish to have your nails looking presentable and also do the more luxurious treatment of tidying up the nails, tidying up the cuticles, making the skin feel softer and the nails looking healthier...

 

Eyelash and Eyebrow tinting... is available, with a wide selection of colours from the darkest black/black...dark brown...there is a colour to suit everyone and can last up to 8 weeks. Excellent for those who do not use mascara or for when you are going swimming.

 

L.A Spray tan... Why not treat yourself to an all over holiday look, you can choose from a natural sun kissed healthy glow or a more adventurous even darker tan.

 

Body Gold Lymphatic massage... a wonderful relaxing and detoxifying treatment helping to eliminate toxins and improve the appearance of cellulite... And if you really want a treat you can have a luxury facial at the same time... relaxing from head to toe...
